CHP Series (high-performance type) Vanadium Catalysts

CHP series are a kind of high performance catalysts for oxidizing SO2 into SO3 and producing sulfuric acid.

Our unique production process enables our products to retain a complete diatomite structure and make the active ingredients penetrate into micropores of diatomite and distribute evenly, and the pore size distribution range is wider. By using the high quality of diatomaceous earth as carrier, our CHP series catalysts have a better porosity & surface area that brings a better activity, bulk density & pressure drop. 

The unique process, special active component raw materials & high-quality carrier give our products the excellent characteristics such as a long service life (8-15 years under nor-mal conditions), a long screening cycle (3-5 years under normal conditions), a less screening loss (<50%) etc, so the overall performance of our products reached an advanced level for the same type products in the world.

CHP78 catalyst can still maintain excellent activity under the conditions of low temperature, high SO2 and low O2, and its performance is significantly higher than that of most other similar catalysts. Therefore, it is mostly used in the third, fourth and fifth sections of the converter. After one-time absorption, its performance is more excellent under the conditions of Low SO2: and high O2 concentration.

Therefore, it is mostly used in the third stage of 3+1 process and the third and fifth stages of 3+2 process.
