Titanium Sponge Production in December 2020
According to relevant statistics, in December 2020, Chinese titanium enterprise produced 11,363 tons of titanium sponge, it is up 30.98% year-on-year and 5.41% month-on-month. The total output from January to December was about 113,300 tons, 26,800 tons more than that of last year, and 31.04% more than that of last year.
The warming situation of titanium sponge reflects high domestic market demand in 2020.
With the release of titanium sponge capacity and market prices gradually warming, titanium sponge production gradually improved.
The top three production areas of titanium sponge in China are Liaoning, Sichuan and Xinjiang, accounting for 34%, 19% and 16% of the total production of titanium sponge in China respectively.
Titanium sponge military market maintained good, civil market recovery, with the overall recovery of the market, titanium sponge demand will continue to be good, the current titanium raw material prices continue to rise, titanium sponge market prices is forecast to rise steadily.
Two factors including increasing price of titanium sponge and depreciation of USD currency rate has pushed titanium tube price onto higher level in 2020.
