Successfully delivered 2.5 tons grade 7 U-Tube
Jiangsu Votti has recently successfully delivered 2.5 tons grade 7 titanium seamless U-tube to our European client. As we established a fully integrated production processes from melting, extruding, pilgerling to final tubes which helps us to control the production cost very well and qualitied tube.
Titanium alloy grade 7 material has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidation medium. It also has a certain corrosion resistance against reducing medium. Especially, it can also improve crevice corrosion resistance in high chloride ion concentration media. Grade 7 containing 0.2% palladium, which is especially suited to reducing conditions. In boiling 5% sulfuric acid, the corrosion rate can be reduced from 48.26mm/a (pure titanium) to 0.508mm/a, corrosion resistance increased by about 95 times. Grade 7 materials are widely used in a variety of highly corrosive environment reactor, tower, autoclave, heat exchanger, etc.
