Impact Tests: Impact tests conducted on heat-treated plates at liquid hydrogen and liquid helium temperatures show almost no reduction in impact resistance. The tests included samples with longitudinal and transverse orientations, as well as welded samples. No signs of brittle fracture were observed, and all welded specimens broke at the weld.
