Analysis of titanium sponge marker in the first half of 2021
In the first half of 2021, the price of titanium sponge has been increasing steadily.
The price of Chinese titanium sponge has been consistently rising from July 2020 lows of CNY45,000/ton to CNY70,000/ton in June 2021. Rising titanium sponge prices in China and growing industrial applications are pointing towards higher demand in the future. For sponge titanium, the biggest factor causing product price fluctuation is the relationship between supply and demand of products. From the current point of view, due to the upsurge in downstream demand, especially military demand, there may be a possibility that the price of titanium sponge will continue to rise.
