1. Small density and high specific strength: The density of titanium is 4.51, higher than aluminum but only half of steel, and the strength of titanium is the highest among metals.

2. Titanium is a very active metal, its equilibrium potential is quite low, and its thermodynamic corrosion tendency in the medium is large. But in fact, titanium is very stable in many media, such as oxidizing, neutral and weak reducing media.

6. Titanium has the characteristics of non-magnetic and non-toxic: titanium is a non-magnetic metal and will not be magnetized in a large magnetic field. It is non-toxic and has good compatibility with human tissue and blood, so it is adopted by the medical sector.   

7. The tensile strength of titanium is close to its yield strength: this property of titanium indicates that its yield strength ratio (tensile strength / yield strength) is high, which indicates that the plastic deformation of titanium material is poor during forming. Because the ratio of yield limit and elastic modulus of titanium is large, the resilience of titanium is large.  

8. The heat transfer performance of titanium is good: Although the thermal conductivity of titanium is lower than that of carbon steel and copper, due to its excellent corrosion resistance, the wall thickness of titanium can be greatly reduced, and the heat transfer mode between the surface and steam is drop condensation, which reduces the heat group, and the heat resistance can also be reduced without scaling on the surface, which significantly improves the heat transfer performance of titanium.  

9. Low elasticity modulus: The elastic modulus of titanium is 106.4 GMPa at room temperature, which is 57% of that of steel.
